Rocky vs AI-generated content

Volume nobody believes.

AI solved the volume problem by giving up on the humans. Rocky solved it by keeping them.

Both figures are third-party: The Harris Poll, presented at Cannes Lions 2026. Rocky’s own numbers are held to a separate internal validation floor.

Where AI wins: speed and cost, with no ceiling. It never sleeps, never says no, and will make you fifty variants before lunch. For work with no trust requirement, concepting, localisation, background plates, hook testing, it is simply better and we use it ourselves. Rocky cannot make fifty assets in an hour. What it makes instead is fifty assets somebody actually meant.

Performance marketing runs on throughput: 15 to 50 new variants a month, refreshed every week or two, forever. AI is how the industry solved that. It is not how it has to be solved.

Fair questions

Is this an anti-AI argument?

No. Rocky is an AI company. The brain that reads your community, scores what works and aims the next round is ours, and it is the product. We automate the process. We do not automate the people, because the people are the reason the content works.

Isn’t AI content far cheaper?

Per asset, yes, and nothing will change that. The comparison that matters is per asset that works. AI volume is tested in paid, so you spend to find out which few earn their place. Rocky’s volume is tested on real feeds before a dollar sits behind it, so you spend only behind what already moved someone.

Can a community really produce that much?

That is the honest question, and the answer is why the community is kept warm and rewarded rather than hired per campaign. A standing community produces continuously. One assembled per launch does not, which is why briefs to it can be mapped to a calendar instead of hoped for.
